Peter W. Gabra serves as Of Counsel at Madaio Eyet & Associates LLP (formerly Habba Madaio & Associates LLP), where he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, commercial disputes, estate litigation, family law, defamation, and contract matters. He has played a key role in a number of nationally significant matters involving former President Donald J. Trump, including high-profile defamation, contract, and civil enforcement actions. His work in these cases has involved navigating sensitive political and reputational issues, complex discovery disputes, and the enforcement of confidentiality and non-disclosure provisions.

Peter has developed particular expertise in litigating disputes involving confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure provisions, and contractual interpretation—especially in matters entangled with media exposure, reputational risk, and political scrutiny. He frequently handles breach of contract and fiduciary duty claims, complex discovery disputes, and constitutional defenses, and is well-versed in navigating high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter was an associate at Foss, San Filippo & Milne, LLC, where he represented clients in contested civil matters across New Jersey. He also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Walls, Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, where he supported the Court’s civil and family dockets and participated in mediation of special civil and landlord-tenant disputes.

Peter earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal and was a member of the Fordham Immigrant Rights Clinic, representing clients facing deportation in Immigration Court. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. 

He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Peter has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in New Jersey each year.
